Indian Navy in Collaboration with ICER, IISc Bengaluru Designed And Developed Transcritical CO2 based 30TR Air Conditioning Plant

Indian Navy in collaboration with Interdisciplinary Centre for Energy Research ICER, IISc Bengaluru has designed and developed a ‘first-of-its-kind’ Transcritical CO2 based 30TR Air Conditioningplant for Marine Applications which has been installed at “Centre of Excellence - Marine Engineering” at INS Shivaji. The prototype is a stepping stone towards adopting natural refrigerant substituting conventional HCFCs.
