British Navy warship HMS Tamar is on a visit to Chennai from 17-29 March 2023. The ship recently participated in multilateral Naval exercise La Pérouse. Cdr Teilo Elliot Smith, Commanding Officer HMS Tamar along with Captain Ian Lynn, Naval Advisor at British High Commission, Delhi called on RAdm S Venkat Raman, FOTNA at Headquarters Tamil Nadu and Puducherry Naval Area and discussed matters of mutual interest. During her stay in Chennai, a variety of activities including professional and social interactions and sports fixtures between two Navies have been scheduled.
