Shri. N Sivasankara Pillai, Chairman, Kerala Maritime Board KMB and Shri TP Salim Kumar IRS, Chief Executive Officer, KMB visited Coastal Defence Headquarters CDHQ at Naval Base, Kochi on 03 Jul 2023. KMB officials met Cmde Rajesh Kumar Yadav, NOIC(Kerala) and discussed issues of maritime related activities of State and measures to strengthen Coastal Security. As part of visit, a brief overview of coastal security organization, inter agency coordination and monitoring cum surveillance mechanism was provided. Kerala Maritime Board is entrusted with administration and control of non-major ports of Kerala. The visit enhances inter agency coordination and jointness towards coastal security of State.
