A batch of 22 IPS trainee officers including two foreign officers from Bhutan visited SNC, Kochi on 22 Jul 2023. The visit was conducted by NOIC(Kerala). The trainee officers were taken on a walk around of SPB (Kochi), Coastal Defence Headquarters (CDHQ) and Joint Operations Centre (Kochi). A brief overview of coastal security organisation, inter agency coordination and monitoring cum surveillance mechanism was provided to trainees highlighting role of Fast Interceptor Craft FICs. The mutual interaction helped officers in understanding responsibilities and efforts of Indian Navy towards ensuring seamless Coastal Security through jointness among all coastal security stake holders.
