A two-day workshop on 'Mind Mapping and Speed Reading' by Mr Pavan Bhattad was organised by Centre of Excellence in Ethics, Leadership and Behavioural Studies CELABS at Naval Base Kochi from 02 to 03 Aug 2023. Mr Pavan Bhattad is an expert in catalytic learning, clarity techniques and creativity and innovation skills. He is founder of 'Pavan Bhattad Institute of Thinking’ and leads various training courses on speed reading, productivity and creative thinking. The workshop was attended by Indian and foreign trainee officers at SNC, Kochi. RAdm Upal Kundu, CSO(Training) presided over the workshop. The workshop touched upon the concept of Mind Maps to enhance thinking, collecting knowledge, remembering and creative ideas. The speaker introduced model of speed reading and it's benefit towards improved memory, logical sequencing, better focus and increased productivity. The participants had unique opportunity of experiencing advantages of these skills during practical sessions and demonstrations.
