A passing out ceremony of maiden Agniveer Basic ‘Q’ Met course was conducted on 18 Aug 2023 at School of Naval Oceanology and Meteorology SNOM. A batch of 40 trainees, including 05 women agniveers successfully completed the course. The event marks the culmination of 16 weeks of training, encompassing comprehensive blend of theoretical and practical aspects of meteorology. Captain TS Ramanathan, Officer-in-Charge SNOM, presented awards to meritorious trainees. The event indicates augmentation of new generation of skilled Met watchkeepers in Indian Navy.
