Dr Karuna Nadkarni, HoD Occupational Therapy, KEM Hospital delivered a lecture on "Scope of Occupational Therapy with focus On Early Intervention" at INHS Asvini on 29 Aug 2023. The lecture was chaired by Surg RAdm Vivek Hande, Commanding Officer. A team headed by Dr Karuna also visited Early Intervention Centre EIC CHETNA at INHS Asvini and were briefed regarding the services being offered, protocols being followed and the SOPs. The team validated functioning of EIC along with various assessment and therapy protocols in place. They were appreciative of strides taken by EIC over last two years since its inception. The inputs provided will go a long way in standardising protocols across EICs pan Navy.
