Shri Sanjay Bansode, Hon’ble Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Govt of Maharashtra, arrived on his maiden visit to NCC Directorate Maharashtra on 12 Sep 2023. He was received by Maj Gen Y P Khanduri ADG, NCC Dte Maharashtra and given a Guard of Honour by the NCC cadets of Mumbai. The Minister inaugurated the newly constructed Shivaji Conference hall at the Directorate and was briefed on the conduct of NCC activities by the DDG, Brig V N Kulkarni during a presentation. The Minister appreciated the standards of training being imparted to the NCC cadets in Maharashtra and emphasised that necessary support to this important activity of Nation building will be given the impetus that it deserves by the Maharashtra State Govt. The Minister expressed his full co-operation for achieving the goal of winning the PM’s Banner for Maharashtra at the RDC-2024. He also complimented that staff and officers for their spectacular performance at the NCC Directorate Maharashtra. The Hon’ble minister was presented a memento by the ADG and also felicitated selected cadets for their exceptional performance in various training activities at the NCC Directorate.
