M Tech and B Tech students of Aerospace Engineering Department, IIT Bombay accompanied by faculty members visited INS Shikra on 14 Sep 2023. The visit aimed to demonstrate practical aspects of Naval Aviation and help the young minds to appreciate aeronautical concepts. The students were familiarised with second-line servicing facilities and presented with certain problem statements. The department is already working on five projects for the Indian Navy. This proactive step in fostering interaction with premier institutions is directed towards the Navy’s goal to be Aatma Nirbharta.
