A delegation team of 30 Foreign Service Attaches of different countries posted at New Delhi visited SNC, Kochi from 17 to 19 Nov 2023. The visit is part of the combined Tri-services FSAs tour organised by HQIDS. The delegation was provided an overview of wide spectrum of Naval operations, training methodology and technical infrastructure of the Indian Navy. The delegation witnessed training facilities and demonstration of simulators in various professional schools. Subsequently a visit onboard indigenously built Naval Offshore Vessel INS Sunayna was also organised. During the visit to Cochin Shipyard Ltd, the delegation was acquainted with the indigenous ship building capabilities of the shipyard showcasing Aatmanirbharta. The visit served as a significant opportunity for the FSAs to gain first hand exposure of Indian Navy's Training capabilities and the professional interactions promoted understanding and cooperation, building bridges of friendship.
