VAdm Dinesh K Tripathi, FOCINC WNC was the Chief Guest for a one-day conclave titled Samudraraksham at Rashtriya Raksha University RRU on 08 Dec 2023. During inaugural address, CINC highlighted coastalsecurity threats collaborative responses role of empowered agencies and technological solutions for coastal security. He also discussed realisation of Blue Economy through coastal security, and envisaged domains for cooperation to address coastal security concerns contemporary issues. CINC complemented VC RRU, Dr. Bimal N Patel for conceptualising and conduct of conclave on a very contemporary topic of coastal security. CINC also recalled that conduct of RRU conclave on the second death anniversary of Gen Bipin Rawat was an apt tribute to first CDS vision to bolster inter-agency coordination for national security.
