RAdm Upal Kundu, CSO(Trg), SNC, reviewed POP of 67th Air Engineering and Air Electrical Officers Specialisation course at Naval Institute of Aeronautical Technology NIAT, Kochi on 09 Dec 2023. The passing out witnessed culmination of 56 weeks of professional course of 17 Air Technical Officers including two officers from Indian Coast Guard, two officers each from Bangladesh and Philippines and one officer each from Seychelles and Vietnam. The Chief Guest congratulated the passing out course and complimented parade for excellent drill and immaculate turnout. The 'Best All Rounder Officer' was awarded to SLt Pavan Kumar and 'First in Overall Order of Merit' in AEO and ALO was awarded to Dy Comdt Ritik Sridhar and SLt Shivkumar Iyer respectively. The 'Best Air Technical Project' was awarded to syndicate of officers namely Lt Van Tien Thanh, Lt Raymund Chakes, SLt Mohit and SLt Vishu Deo Alok. The event also marked passing out of Lt Lara Litusquen from Philippines, the first Woman Air Technical officer, who successfully completed training at NIAT.
