One more feather to Indian Navy's Atma Nirbharta efforts. VAdm Sandeep Naithani, Chief of Materiel, Indian Navy, on his visit to INS Eksila was apprised of the Indigenisation efforts towards achieving Self Reliance in Gas Turbine Technology. The ToT document for manufacturing GTG compressor blades was also handed over to the COM by Dr Y Sreenivas Rao, DS, DG (NS and M), DRDO India. This enables Indian Navy to place further orders to Industry partners for indigenous manufacturing of GTG compressor blades and is a substantial step towards Atma Nirbharta.
