20 trainee IAS officers of 2023 batch from LBSNAA Mussoorie, Uttarakhand visited ENC as part of winter study tour Bharat Darshan. Commodore Shantanu Jha, CSO(OPS), ENC interacted with the officers and gave a brief insight into Indian Navy and operational infrastructure of ENC. The aim of the two day naval attachment is to provide the trainee IAS officers an overview of naval operations onboard Naval ships, submarines and aircraft and also to acquaint them with roles and responsibilities of ENC. During the attachment, trainees were given an interactive presentation and briefed on role of ENC and current Coastal Security construct. The trainee officers thereafter visited various Naval infrastructure including Naval Dockyard Visakhapatnam, Submarine and Eastern Fleet Ship.
