An Indian Navy team of 20 personnel led by Capt Amit Sharma undertook challenging 'Chadar Trek' from 13 - 16 Feb 2024 at Leh. The arduous Chadar Trek was undertaken on the frozen Zanskar river. During the expedition, the team camped in sub zero temperatures (falling to minus 20 degree celcius at night) in the Zanskar Valley. The team faced challenges of trekking on the frozen river successfully.
