INS Sunayna rendered assistance to a stranded FV Bewina with 11 crew members off the coast of Kochi on 17 Feb 2024. FV Bewina, was drifting at high seas without fuel, fresh water and food for last 48 hours. The ship, in a swift response approached the vessel and provided essential fuel, food, fresh water and medical aid. The immediate and effective response by Indian Naval ship towards humanitarian assistance remains part of Indian Navy's priorities and missions.
